Is a credit card always necessary?
Not always. Some offers accept a debit card, but paying online with a debit card does not necessarily mean the supplier accepts it for the security deposit at pickup.
Check the rental conditions
Check accepted card types, whether a physical card is required, the cardholder name, available funds for a deposit and driver age restrictions. Prepaid or virtual cards may not qualify.
Avoid surprises at pickup
Carry the documents and card specified in your booking. Ask the supplier for written confirmation if any card or deposit requirement is unclear.
